Why liquid propane used as cooling medium and not other liquid etc butane or ethane?

I don't think propane is used as as cooling media, maybe certain amount incorporated in a compound formula for a coolant but never heard of using such combustible as coolant unless the intention is to raise the temperature to improve combustion, but this is just an energy saving process and the primary intention is energy saving not as coolant.
