Does this sound like my character is drunk?

Just some tips, readers don't like to be told - He was hammered, it's a basic rule in writing called show don't tell. All you need is some slurred words and that's about it, they can put the two together (slurred words + party = HAMMERED). Also adverbs are usually considered a big no-no, so simply, quickly, roughly, etc. is just considered lazy writing and is the main reason Stephanie Meyer is considered a terrible writer. Other then that it sounds great!
