Mailman attacker dog not gone!?

my dog (golden retriever border collie mix) has gotten loose twice on the mailman, once on the paper boy and a couple times on some persby with their dogs. we were supposed to get rid of her but instead shes become an outside dog. she never bites them, only scares and steals there stuff (mail, papers, bags) any tips on a reinforced gl door that looks nice? our spring broke and it wont close, i just want her to not care when people p the house please help!!! im going to college in a year and i cant be here to stick up for her
